Not a lot going on here from the previous day. Only have a little left in The Strike before I throw that on the back burner. Still playing Dead Rising 2 co-op in slight disgust, which probably was a big waste of time.

Dead Rising 2 Co-op Is Broken

I'm extremely disappointing with how the Co-op in Dead Rising 2 turned out. Let's see, the game will kick the 2nd player when the host saves the game. It still has that lousy freeze time in between saving and loading your game. When I choose which device to save on, I swear it takes a minute to respond. However, the load times seem to be improved over Case Zero, but not by a lot.

It's just another case of a lazy developer shoving their product out the door. Capcom had to know of these problems, instead, they did what most developers are doing these days. Shitting on your face, then giving you a wet nap (patch) to clean it up down the road. It seems like it's getting progressively worse as this generation plays out. A disturbing problem that needs to be alleviated before consumers question the point of getting newly released titles. I hate to say it, but waiting to play is now the smart thing to do. You should no longer envy people reviewing a game weeks in advance.

Two Is Better Than One

Tomorrow expect to see some Dead Rising 2 achievements on the bounty. I really hope the co-op works properly, hopefully I haven't set myself up for major disappointment.  I have really been looking forward to this game for quite sometime.  Other than that, got back to watching some BSG. The episode I just watched has sucked me back in. Adama is such a bad ass, my favorite character on the show so far.

The Smallest Bounty You Can Get

Another failed day at getting a good bounty. Luckily Dead Rising 2 is coming out very soon to swoop in and save the day. I think I'm just too impatient in general to sit down and enjoy a fishing game. Like most people, I want instant results. My character in The Strike totally looks like Bill Mitchell, without that godawful Red, White, and Blue tie of course. Speaking of that, Team Wiebe or Team Michell?

Silenced The Haters

The new dashboard must have a hater auto detection system built in because the haters have been silenced and my inbox isn't full of their nonsense. I figured it was something to bring up since those types of messages have completely disappeared from my posts over the last couple of weeks. I guess my approach to the entire thing worked out for me. Over the course of time I've been asked why I post mostly hate messages. Easy, because it's funny to me and I really don't give a shit what some faceless, nameless, gamertag says about me. I'm not afraid to let everyone read what is said. I could hide the hate and post sappy love letters, but I won't hide the fact that a ton of people hate me. Just look at the comments section on some of the blog posts. There are a ton of hate messages and I could delete every last one of them, but I don't.

There was a good amount of hate over the last couple of years and now it's just dead. Don't get me wrong, I love not having that, just wondering what changed. I'm going to sleep now and when my head hits my comfy pillow, a smirk will arise like the morning sun on my face because I know I've defeated every last one of you mother fuckers. Even if you crop back up, it will no longer matter. I have done the impossible. Silenced the haters.

Gone Fishin'

Once again it was a very disappointing day in achievement land. I played a little bit of The Strike today and it seems like a decent fishing game so far.

I really didn't accomplish much today even though it looks like a decent bounty. Most of it was done while I was sleeping.  You can set up a turbo controller to have Karaoke Revolution: AI Encore 2 run back the same song as long as your heart desires. Doing so makes getting the 200 platinum and 25 million achievements a breeze. We got the next Podcast all recorded, so look for that in a few days. 

Not sure how many messages I've received over time about wanting to be on my Xbox live friends list and I really do feel bad about denying you. As you may know, the limit is 100 friends and I've been at the limit since 2006. :( Here's the deal, if Microsoft does up the friends limit, I want the people that have been following me from the beginning to be on it. I will throw up a discussion topic about it on my FaceBook page. All you have to do is say ADD ME and put your Gamertag. I already know what's going to happen when that day comes, so I'm just getting prepared for it. Alternatively, you can send me a 4,000 Microsoft point card or a big bag of beef jerky to get on it now. muhahahaha...kidding btw.

A rocky inspired achievement gained through an American Idol game? Not sure how this one got by me, but once Trueachievements gets revived that sucker is going in my case. Not changing my stance on avatar items, but I will buy some Rocky items if they ever become available. So, Kobe jersey and Rocky clothing is as far as I'm willing to go. Do any of you spend more money on avatar clothing than real clothing? I'd like to hear that story.

NBA 2k11 Player Ratings Revealed: Kobe Is Rolling Over In His Grave

The majority of the NBA2k11 player ratings were released today. Kobe, Lebron, and Wade sit at the top of the NBA 2k mountain with a 97 rating. Not really a surprise there and I do think Wade and LeBron are 97's. Both Wade and LeBron are extremely talented and gifted ballers and perhaps they are slowly creeping up on Kobe while he ages. But let's be real, could Wade or LeBron do what Kobe did last season with a broken index finger on their shooting hand? HELL NO! I came to that conclusion by taking their past injuries into account and how they reacted. Right before the injury bug hit Kobe, he was playing the best basketball I have ever witnessed. The injuries slowed him down a lot, but he did what he had to do, to win it all. He could of just let off the gas and used the injuries as an excuse, but he somehow converted pain into motivation. That is the kind of thing that separates him from the pack.

Guess there is no real way to give ratings for will, determination, focus and other attributes that cannot be determined. Kobe is off the charts in those categories, only matched by few in NBA history. Yeah, maybe I'm biased on this subject, but in 2006 I was sitting in American Airlines Arena watching the Heat beat the Pistons in the conference finals championship. I have D-wade's shoes, my girlfriend has his jersey, heck, I even have a Wade bobble head. Wade and LeBron are awesome, but come on. I'm not trying to say who to be a fan of, I just think it's clear cut who the best is. The best individual basketball player of all time is either; A: Kobe or B: Michael. GOAT vs. GOAT. Kobe is just one shy of MJ.....

I'm still struggling with the idea of actually playing and enjoying the Lego Indy game. Every time I think about playing my Xbox 360, that game jumps into my head and I'm immediately turned off. I need to get that game out of my life pronto. Maybe I'll just suck it up and get it done, maybe not.

Completed Game: Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2

Another game where I had a little bit of the DLC to finish up before all the achievements were complete. And again, another crappy batch of DLC. If you want this particular DLC, I would recommend picking it up asap. It will be removed forever from the marketplace at the end of the year. Good Riddance! However, the main game itself was good stuff, especially in co-op.

I have Halo: Reach pulling me one way and the GSL pulling me another. Stretch arm strong would even have trouble with this dilemma. Even though things look extremely bleak on the GSL front, I don't want to go down without a fight. 

Completed Game: Autobahn Polizei

Not too bad at all. I wouldn't mind seeing another Crash Time now, but the voice actors need to go. The overall length is somewhere in the middle range of games, neither long or short. 12-15 hours and easy achievements overall. Avoid Crash Time 1 at all costs.

Autobahn Polizei is much better than Crash Time, like tons better. Basically it all comes down to having a simple little map and directions on where to go. It's still not my cup of tea, but improvement is something I can give the the Dev. team props for. I'm not scoring at the rate I would've hoped to be during a GSL,  it's not so easy trying to flip that switch.  Scoring mode is always on, but ultra whore mode, well, that's something entirely different.

Achievement Bounty 9-13-2010

I was thinking about Halo: Reach coming out, so it was hard to stay focused on other games today. I farmed for coins in Planets Vs. Zombies for a long time, but I lost about 120,000 of those due to the game not saving. That was a bummer. I played Halo: Reach the moment I got back with it around midnight. I'm really enjoying it so far. I'll be back tomorrow with daily audio, the podcast should be a good listen, so check that out.

Defeat the Shadow Broker’s Assassin (achievement tiles are messed up for ME2)

I thought I had a pretty decent day overall. I'm not tearing it up like some of the people are in the GSL. Not really that worried about it at the moment, I just need to stay consistent. If you want to track the GSL with pie charts and graphs check HERE. Beware, the pie chart for the MachiNe team reads "100% fucked". Out of the games I have played today, Lego Indy 2 is the one dragging me down. I just can't get into it. The Mass Effect  2 Shadow Broker DLC is pretty dang good. You should check it out if you are a fan of Mass Effect. I also finished off Spider-Man: dimensions campaign and Mafia II as well. Both are worth a look if you are even slightly interested in either.

Completed Game: The Idolmaster: Live for you!

Felt good getting that final achievement that was glitched on me. Tip: If you see weird stuff going on with your gamertag on the dashboard, get a refresh by recovering your tag. That should clear things right up. I was too damn stubborn to try that until now.

S83: Yes, I know exactly how many I get on a per day basis. I sit at my computer and count all the messages I receive. I then make pie charts and graphs. In a nut shell, that's what I do with my time when I'm not gaming, eating, pissing, shitting, or sleeping.

Just gearing up for the GSL. It starts in about 22 hours of me writing this. I have finally thought about a game plan, nothing note worthy up my sleeve. Probably won't get much done tomorrow, but come Saturday, there should be a significant leap in my activity. No more pussy footing about. No xbox live message of the day, haven't gotten any good material lately.

Spider-man: Dimensions is all I've played. I'm still enjoying it quite a bit. A lot of variety found within, which keeps it fresh like zip locks. 6 levels to go before I'm done with the campaign. I tried to make a guess yesterday about how long it will take to compete. Unless there is some kind of glitch, it will take 15+ hours to 1,000. I had a goal of getting to 800,000 trueachievement score today, but I fell short.

The cat is out of the bag and there will be scratching. MachiNe Team V1651438(total combined gamerscore) invades the x360a.org Gamerscore league Season 9. It starts up Saturday at 12:01am EST and runs until the clock strikes midnight November 1st. Smrnov, Tjayars, Omega Deez, and I will be trying to pull it off. Personally, I think we are being thrown to the wolves and our chances of winning it is slim. It won't be because of a lack of effort, it will be brought. Good luck to everyone participating in it.

Achievement Bounty 9-7-2010

Still not catching fire, but it's better than a single. Feeling like I'm about to break free from the slump. As far as Spider-man: Dimensions goes, it seems solid so far. I'll probably be in bed exclusively with it until I finish up the campaign. The noir levels remind me of the stealth found in Batman AA to a degree. The boss battles have some really nice touches, too. The only complaint I have is the fairly cheesy dialog. The voice acting is actually better than decent, just some of the dialog bugs me. Feels like a few Spider-man games rolled into one and I think it's well worth your time.

Looks like a decent bounty but it's deceiving. I'm still burnt, all I have on my radar is Halo Reach. Halo will beat that burnt feeling out of me like Bobby Brown. Switching up the timing of the bounties so they come at the end of the day.

Got that Crackdown 2 DLC done, more coming out according to some of the locked avatar awards. Still plugging away at Mafia II. I really do like the game and not completing it in a timely manner is not a knock on it. You must come up for air at some point.
