The Big Kahuna

That is how many points per day I need to reach 400,000 before the clock strikes 12 midnight on January 1, 2010. For whatever reason, I want to hit 400,000 before next year. I told Rand al Thor I wanted to do it about a month and a half ago and he said it couldn't be done.
As I am writing this I have exactly 356,008. I need 43,992 in 135 days to reach 400,000. I feel like I can make it for a few reasons. The massive amount of games being released within the next 3-4 months, not to mention the overall quality of the games are generally better. Another reason being I am in a groove. A groove that has eluded me for years. I wish I could tell you "How Stallion got his groove back" but for whatever reason I feel like I could even pop pimp my ride in and swallow it whole without hating myself. I usually feel worn out after a gamerscore league is complete. I am going to ride this wave like the Big Kahuna.
I am also sitting on exactly 499 games played. I'm not sure when I will pop in another one for 500. It will be either Wolfy, Shadow Complex, BCF, or The new Batman game.
Completion % mumbo jumbo. I care and I don't care about it. I just think it would be silly to avoid a game that I know I would enjoy just because it is damn near impossible to complete. Before the gamerscore league started I was closing in on 90%. While the league was going on I somehow managed to drop it below 85%. I basically killed it with about 5 or 6 games I played for maybe an hour or less a piece. I've been able to resuscitate it somewhat and now it is back to 86.50%. I guess I will try to get it to 90% and keep it there.

The MachiNe Team wins H2H GSL Season 5
It's not official yet so I don't have the final scores. I will post stats and other things once they are made official.
I just want to thank a few people for making it possible. The MachiNes, Cru, Mango, Rand, Fro, Omega, Apple, and Tennis. Last but not least, Console Heroes. If you have been following my blog you may recall the bad taste season 4 left in my mouth. All that bitterness is now gone and Console Heroes has a good gamerscore league that I can highly recommend.
Not much is known about he future of the MachiNes, but I have a feeling we will be back in some fashion.
Smrnov hit em in the mouth on the final day and I thought this video might be fitting. Thanks to smrnov for providing the home video. I can't believe they ganged up on you like this man. The part where Danny Dibo tells Tommy to put you in a body bag was really uncalled for.

A day in the life
H2H Gamerscore league Finals: Day 1 The MachiNe Team VS You got a Bad Draw
We face off against a single team for 4 days.
5:40 am -- I've run my course. 13 achievements 150 points in Wanted weapons of fate GR. Not sure how many achievements I unlocked, but I scored over 5,300. Spent.
4:56am -- still playing Wanted. Getting REALLY tired
4:04am -- Installed Wanted weapons of fate GR. Playing that now.
3:42am -- 2 achievements unlocked for 130 in hot wheels beat that. Don't know what is next.
2:58am -- Had a Yogurt and a piece of bread lol. Got a vitamin water 10 also.
2:51am -- starving, going to find something to eat.
2:49am -- switching to PAL console to play Hot wheel beat that french.
2:44am -- 31 achievements for 890 in NaTM. Getting tired. over 5,000 for the day.
12:36am -- 3 achievements for 140 points in ice age. Got more water. Onto NatM
12:22am -- xbox live is back up for me. Still playing Ice Age, going to get something in this before i switch.
11:57 -- I hooked up my Japanese system to see if it would connect to live and no dice. I am going to hook back up my American system and farm for berries in ice age since I spent them like a jackass. Hopefully live comes back soonish....
11:49 -- Next time I do a big day like this I will wait until live goes down before I shower.

9:25 -- Still plugging away at ice age. Still have a little monster left.

7:41 -- up to 3,500 so far today
7:35 -- took a shower. Had a weak sauce work out with 120 sit-ups (my mind said get to 5k and you can do this tomorrow) More water, when i mention water I am drinking 20oz clips. Had a salad with ranch and a few cherries. I'm just getting started. Unleashed the secret weapon which is a monster energy drink. This is some good stuff.
6:57 -- 2 achievements for 125 in SBK. Break from xbox time. Maybe a little bit of exercise and shower. I will unleash the secret weapon when I return.

3:55pm -- 1 achievement worth 180 unlocked in Time leap. 1 more character to go. It's almost time to break out the secret weapon.
3:25pm -- 33 achievements unlocked for 950 in Sega Mega. Returning to the living room and Japanese xbox to play time leap. Getting warmer.

2:17pm -- Making good progress but I have a massive headache.
1:41pm -- Switching to Sega Mega and having a cascadian farm organic chocolate chip granola bar. Just warming up.
1:36pm -- Hot wheels french is boring me to death. 3 achievements unlocked for 130. Going to get more water then maybe switch to Sega mega drive collection.
12:34pm -- Time leap will have to wait. Moving to the bedroom where my PAL 360 is hooked up for some Hot Wheels french toast.
12:12pm -- Still time leaping. 1 more achievement worth 180 point unlocked.
11:31am -- 2 achievements for 360 in time leap. Going to fill up on water and brush my grill. Then back to time leap.
10:49am -- Had a bowl of kashi honey sunshine cereal with skim milk. Got a bottle of water and hooked up Japanese xbox for time leap.
10:43am -- Didn't have to watch the credit roll. Still going to eat.
10:40am -- Eating while the credits roll. 7 achievements unlocked for 200 points in G-force
10:16am -- Going to play G-force instead. Forgot about it.
10:13am -- Enough of that. 5 achievements for 75 points in uno rush. Hooking up Japanese 360 for time leap.

A day in the life
GSL playoff Semi final round 1 day 1
All times are EST.
9:30am: Woke up and made some coffee...4 hours of sleep
9:50am: Popped in SBK
9:56am: Drinking coffee and checking the scores out...feeling a bit tired, didn't sleep well. Possum likes to take up the bed, need a king.
10:00am: Okay, playing SBK now, the MachiNes are up in both matches.
10:05am: Switches to Gears of War 2
10:10am: It begins....first ach unlocked. 30 points
10:25am: 3 achs : 75 points in gears 2..switches to Japanese xbox and Tomb Raider: Underworld JP
10:38am: 1 ach: 50 points. Switches To Time Leap
10:40am: I call this game swapping stuff "the Mexican Jumping Bean Style"
10:58am: Time Leap achievement and cherry popped. 1 ach for 100 points.
10:59am: Need more coffee, I'll plan my next move while I do that.
11:03am: Time for some Wall-E Korea..I guess
11:07am: Scratch that...hooked back up American xbox for gears 2.

5:03pm: Feeling a bit slothish (i don't believe that is a word) so I'm gonna have a quick exercise then I will eat. While I do that, I will have Disney sing it HSM songs lined up the the gig mode playing. So I have to hook my American xbox back up.
5:05pm: At least going to 340,000 today
5:36pm: Light exercise done. Had two more glasses of water. Did 120 push ups and 180 sit ups. Skipped out on chin ups due to lack of energy from not eating. I am going to eat and relax for a few.
6:00pm: Had a pepperoni pizza lean pocket and a big apple. Another glass of water. Shower time. I still have Disney Sing it HSM going on.
6:38pm: So fresh and so clean. Going to make more coffee. Disney sing it HSM is still moving along. I'm going to switch to something else soon.

7:04pm: 2 more achievements unlocked in Disney sing it HSM for 100 points. I still need to do training and 100 songs played. Switching to Japanese xbox and Brothers in arms HH JP.

7:09pm: I forgot to install Brothers in Arms HH JP so I'm doing that now.
7:16pm: installed. It will probably get boring real quick, especially the damn un skippable cut scenes aka developer raping the consumer time.

5:03pm: Feeling a bit slothish (i don't believe that is a word) so I'm gonna have a quick exercise then I will eat. While I do that, I will have Disney sing it HSM songs lined up the the gig mode playing. So I have to hook my American xbox back up.

5:36pm: Light exercise done. Had two more glasses of water. Did 120 push ups and 180 sit ups. Skipped out on chin ups due to lack of energy from not eating. I am going to eat and relax for a few.
6:00pm: Had a pepperoni pizza lean pocket and a big apple. Another glass of water. Shower time. I still have Disney Sing it HSM going on.
6:38pm: So fresh and so clean. Going to make more coffee. Disney sing it HSM is still moving along. I'm going to switch to something else soon.

7:16pm: installed. It will probably get boring real quick, especially the damn un skippable cut scenes aka developer raping the consumer time.

10:15pm: I have sing it set up for 5 songs. Chow time. Shrimp and brown rice. Will be watching fried green tomatoes with possum while I eat.

A day in the life
Tomorrow I will have a day long running blog of my achievement adventures and whatever else goes on. This will not be a typical day, this type of extreme gaming only happens a few times a year due to the exhausting and stressful nature. Follow along tomorrow if you want to. I'm not sure exactly when it will start. The night before the GSL playoffs is like a child's Christmas eve to me, so I'm sure that little voice in my head will say, "time to whore" when I know I should be sleeping instead.

With the answer of Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. Maybe you've visited pigeon forge or something? I'd like to know. A lot of you guys were extremely warm. How many of you picked up on the pool ball hint, 8 6 5? That's the area code of Pigeon Forge and several other counties in Tennessee. I'm just curious if anyone did since so many of you picked Knox county. I'm surprised nobody guessed a place that is not in the US.
The pool table clue that may have been a little tough.

The MachiNe team makes the playoffs in H2H GSL
Console Heroes has been running a gamerscore league over the past 6 weeks. The MachiNe team is lucky enough to be in the thick of things which kicks off this weekend. Thursday through Sunday I should be scoring out of my mind. We go up against two other teams and the team with the most points squares off against a singular team from the other bracket in the finals. That would be held the following weekend. Hopefully we can make it all the way. There is no doubt that this will be a dog fight. It seems we've been the target all season and I don't see that changing. I will post the scorecards on here when it kicks off so you can follow the blood bath if you choose to do so.
I've been preparing by having a low dose of gaming, lots of water and bathing in methyl & butyl thiols (skunk juice). I recommend our competition do the same, especially the skunk juice part.

Appetizer
While we wait for Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2, Battlefield Bad Company 2, or the online shooter of your choice. Why not get a mini bite of online gaming with Battlefield 1943? At 15 bucks it has a good price point. Sure, it only has 3 maps with the 4th one unlocking once the community kills reaches 43 million (scroll down the page a little for the counter) The achievements overall are fairly easy to get. 100 online games played will take a good chunk of time since games last anywhere from 15-20 minutes. You are looking at around 33 hours to get the all achievements. A tasty appetizer while we wait for the the main course indeed.
UPDATE: Don't buy it yet, it is basically unplayable due to the lack of dedicated servers. Wait a couple of days.

Milk does a gamerscore league good
I am having a good time in the Console Heroes GSL. In past gamerscore leagues I only had new releases to play so it was quite the task to put up points at a high rate. This time around I have a backlog of games to choose from due to slow play since I hit 300,00. I have been sticking to my swiss cheese method and it has proven to much more enjoyable . Overall this GSL has been a lot less stressful and I will probably be doing it again in the future. Gamerscore leagues are only fun if you have something to milk.
That is what I have been focused on for the past 3 weeks. The league runs for another 5 weeks, that is if we make it to the final round. Go machiNes!

Where in America is Stallion83?
I like to travel and go on trips so why not unlock achievements while I'm in different States? That's the plan, to unlock a single achievement in every single State in the USA. All 50 before I reach 1 million.
First state is Florida, Daytona Beach to be exact. This was just an experiment and a sudden idea. I didn't have my video camera with me so I had to use the digital camera therefore, the quality isn't that great.
The achievement I unlocked was from Need for Speed Undercover. The achievement was Bay Drive & Harbor.
So there you have it 1 down & 49 to go. Well 48 left with Tennessee included. I wish I would've got Hawaii last summer, I don't feel like flying that far again. :(
