World's First 1,500,000 Gamerscore VIDEO
It took 11 years, 3 months, 15 days for the world's first 1.5 million gamerscore. Here's the Twitch video of me breaking the milestone.

950,000 Gamerscore
Yesterday I hit 950,000 gamerscore which means I'm only 50,000 away from why this blog even exists. In two weeks time it will be 8 years since I earned my first achievement and gamerscore points back on November 22nd, 2005. Xbox 360 launch day in the USA. It will have taken me eight years and change when it's all said and done
A common question as of late is:
"Will you make it to 1,000,000 before Xbox One is released"
I'm very aware I built up that hype but it wasn't meant to be. The short answer is no and there's a story behind it all that I will share at a later date.
The goal now is to hit 1,000,000 in 2013 which leaves me about 50 days to earn 50,000 gamerscore. I think the Xbox One will give me the morale boost needed to get it done. More games don;t hurt, either. :)

900,000 Gamerscore & When Will 1,000,000 Happen?
NINE HUNDRED THOUSAND gamerscore on July 15th 2013.
![]() |
| The box art matches the console. Plus it's a great game. |
I wanted to use a unique console to hit the mark with so I finally fired up my 10 years of Xbox LIVE console that Microsoft sent out to an unknown amount of Xbox Live users back in November. I got a single achievement using this console and controller to put me at 900,000 and now I will retire the console and controller forever. Hey, at least the console lasted longer than my launch 360. I wish I was joking.....
The game I used for 900,000 was Borderlands 2 and the achievement was "Keep Rollin' Rollin' Rollin" which is found in the Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep DLC
So....the million dollar question is now; when will my 1,000,000 gamerscore happen? These questions keep popping up.
@Stallion83 I'm hoping or 100k before Xbox One :) not sure If I'll be able to. But sure gonna give it a shot

@Stallion83 what are you gonna use for one mil? #milestones
— Harry Dent (@harry_dent) July 16, 2013
@Stallion83 So close now. Do you think you can reach 1,000,000 before the XBox one? or get as close as possible.
— One Up (@Plus_One_Up) July 16, 2013
@Stallion83 congrats good luck on your last 100k #4months
— Jason Kerr (@jasonkerr214) July 16, 2013
@Stallion83 Congrats dude! You think you are going to hit 1 Million before the xbox one ;)?
— MrHawkeye1996 (@MrHawkeye1996) July 16, 2013
I have been getting the same question a lot since the Xbox one reveal, even more so on Xbox Live and Facebook. Do I have until late or early November? If the former, which appears to be the most reasonable guess, the odds increase. Still, that's only 4 months or 4 months and a week from now. Looking at the games coming out over the next few months it doesn't look to be plausible to do within the given time-frame.
I wanted to save my best for last. Have I done that? I don't know. I'm not even sure if I would rather do it on the 360 or Xbox One. Most people seem to think I should do it on X360. Hitting the million mark before the next Xbox was on my radar well before the messages started pouring in but the idea of hitting it on the new machine is just as intriguing to me.
However, I will commit to this, it's happening in 2013.
@Stallion83 Looking good! Video coming?

Might have to throw something together.

870,000 Gamerscore
It's crazy to think how far I've come over the past 7+ years. The ups and the downs and everything else in-between. It's been one wild ride that I would not trade away for the world. Seven and a half years is an extraordinary amount of time to focus on such a goal. Some would say it's a waste of ones time. But I've learned so much over the years both useless and meaningful. Nuggets of information you can't simply learn in the confines of a classroom or anywhere else for that matter. This journey has made me a stronger willed person and a better man and whatever I do in the future is going to benefit greatly from the ride I sacrificed everything to achieve, that I know. This is only the beginning for me. Until that day comes, I still have this mountain to climb and just like the last seven and a half years, all my attention and focus is on the goal. Nothing else.
I wake up fueled by adrenaline to get to the finish line. It keeps me awake on occasion. I can't help it, I just want it so badly! After all these years I'm still hungry as ever, foaming from the mouth like a rabid animal. This has become far more than just a gaming goal to me, it has taken on a life of its own. I get asked a lot about how I've managed to get my score so high. Note the sacrifice everything part.
The light at the end of the tunnel is brighter than ever for me. It looks so incredible, even from a distance. I think about it a lot. It appears almost close enough to grab and believe me, I'd grab it if I could - if only it were that easy. Then again, the climb up the mountain top would not be worth traversing if easy was a way to define it once the story is written.
This final 130,000 is going to be nuts!! And I will put everything I have left into it. This is more than likely my swan song and I hope it's a song you can appreciate. <3 data-ved="0CDsQkQowAQ" div=""> 3>

30,000 Achievements Unlocked!! To Infinity … and Beyond!
I acquired my first achievement back on November 22, 2005.
2,363 days later, on May 12, 2012, I'm 30,000 achievements richer. (6 year, 5 months, 20 days)
That comes out to 12.69 PPD (Pops Per Day) or achievements unlocked per day.
The achievement I used for my 30,000 milestone was "To Infinity...and Beyond!" from Disney/Pixar RUSH
If you lay out 30,000 64X64 images one by one like the image above ( that's the size of achievement tiles) it would reach almost 1/3 of a mile in length (.0321 miles) Each 64X64 image = .68 inches when viewed on a Flat panel monitor. Even larger on a CRT scaling from .87in to 1.08in. 30,000 achievements would be maximum size on CRT going over half a mile in length (.511)
At the time of this writing, 30,000 achievements is the most of any achievement or trophy hunter in the universe. I have even managed to out achieve some of the high PS3 trophy guys that admit and openly share their account with a group of people.
Here's a little video I put together for my 30,000th achievement milestone.

[VIDEO] 700,000 Gamerscore - The 1 Million Journey Continues
My journey to 1 million gamerscore began back on November 22nd, 2005.
2,312 days later and I'm sitting pretty on exactly 700,000 gamerscore. The first person in the universe to do such.
The video was pain in the rear end to make. Ever since I hit 600,000 gamerscore back in August of 2011 I've basically recorded every shred of video game footage. Hundreds of hours all packed onto my HDD. Most of the achievements were buried in files that were 3 to 4 hours long. It was like trying to find a needle in a haystack. And it took a ton of work to finally get done. I hope you all enjoy it.
I guess the march towards 800,000 beings now. Instead of being dog tired from gaming like I usually am once I hit a 100k milestone, I'm actually ready to pick the controller back up and get to it. I need to go digest this and have some fun. I'll probably reflect more on this later tonight or tomorrow.

6 years, 4 months or:
- 199,756,800 seconds
- 3,329,280 minutes
- 55,488 hours
- 330 weeks (rounded down)
Here is the video I made to celebrate the 700,000 milestone. For the best quality use 1080p or 720p.
The achievement that put me exactly at 700k was "Insanity" from Mass Effect 3. Description: Finish the game on Insanity without changing the difficulty after leaving Earth. I would say it's more than fitting and it's the achievement I wanted to hit the milestone with all along which I've known for at least a month now. I slowed down and spent very little time on my Xbox over the last two weeks, I did not play any new games, and went against the grain to avoid achievements in Mass Effect 3 just so I could hit 700k with "Insanity". It all worked out to perfection.

Thanks for the voice work from Omega Deez. Can you spot his voice in the video?

The Number of The Beast - 666,666 Gamerscore. Two Thirds of 1 Million Accomplished
333,334 away from 1 Million. I had to drop 666,666 before 2011 came and went and I did just that around 7:43PM EST on December 31st.
Here is the achievement that put me at 666,666 on the dot.
"BEWARE OF THE BEAST" from the Mortal Kombat Kollection.
As you may or may not know, my original idea was to get 666,666 on Halloween. However, I set out for that insane goal too late in the game. I got close but as they say, close only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades.
Two months late could be construed as failure. In my defense, I did take a tremendous chunk of much needed time away from gaming during the month of December; only playing around an hour a night for a 3 week span.
So, I ended 2011 with 666,666 and I also start 2012 with 666,666. Exactly Two thirds of my 1 Million Gamerscore goal accomplished.
You could say I'm on the final leg of my journey for the triple crown. No horse has done it in over 33 years. Even if my gamertag was not created with a horse in my mind, I'm willing to roll with that analogy.
333,333 is still a lot of gamerscore to gain. As of January 3rd, 2012 only 68 other people in the world have a score north of that. Lets just say there are 30 million people on Xbox LIVE. A score of 333,333 has only been achieved by 0.00023% of all users. And some of those gamertags are probably multiple people on one account.

1,000,000 TrueAchievement Score
Maybe not 1,000,000 Gamerscore but still a huge feat which took almost 6 years to accomplish.
The achievement I used to cross the 1,000,000 TA mark on 9-11 was from Dead Island which was School of hard knocks.
A friend pointed out to me on facebook that something about the timing of this was ironic. The Entourage series finale ended just 15 minutes prior to me unlocking the School of hard knocks achievement and getting passed 1,000,000 TA score. The Xbox LIVE gamerpic most recognize me for is one that hasn't changed in over 5 years now which is of Jeremy Piven who plays Ari Gold in the series. It was the end of a long running series and the end of a fictional character, but this is far from the end for me. I'm just getting started.
Here is the Last scene with Ari Gold. SPOILERS!
If you haven't signed up for Trueachievements you probably should. A great site to keep tabs on your stats and achievement progress of yourself and friends.

Completed Games Update: 500
# 490 MX vs. ATV: Alive
#491 Kinect Fun Labs: Bobble Head
#492 Kinect Fun Labs: Kinect Me
#493 Kinect Fun Labs: Build A Buddy
#494 iBlast Moki
#495 Green Lantern: Rise of The Manhunters
#496 Red Faction: Armageddon
#497 Burn it All!
#498 Kinect Fun Labs: Googly Eyes
#499 geoDefense
#500 Zombies!!!
A nice little milestone before I crack 600,000.
I've been up and down with the completed game thing, sometimes I love it and other times I despise it. Despise might be a strong word, but when stuff glitches, and it happens, it's discouraging. Instead of dwelling on it too much, I tend to move forward. Over the past two years I've left a lot of stones unturned, maybe once I cross 600,000 I will work on flipping those suckers over.
This count is for all the original achievements in a game. That's the only way you can put a number to a game without it fluctuating.

Pinball FX2 700th Xbox 360 Game Played
Out of the 700 I have nil in two games. Tomb Raider Anniversary and Blacklight: Tango Down. On pace to play roughly 700 more before I reach the goal.
1819 days since I got my 360. That boils down to a new game played every 64 hours for 5 years.

500,000 Gamerscore
Well, I'm finally half way there. Its been one hell of a journey so far. Thanks for following me and thanks to everyone that helped me along the way. It's going to be a long process getting to 1,000,000, but hopefully I can make it there someday.
