Red Dead Redemption is an epic western adventure set in a seemingly unending open world. You fill the boots of John Marston a simple rancher who just can't seem to stay out of trouble. In its obvious Grand Theft Auto roots this game is almost anything you want it to be. You could spend hours in the saloon playing cards, You can start random bar fights for fun, You can go hunt defenseless woodland creatures, You can even spend hours walking around picking flowers and, that is without actually getting into the game. Add a pile of online game modes and a tone of post release downloadable content this game is huge bang for your buck. The lengthy story and varied achievement list should keep you returning to the wild west for at least 100 hours. If you haven't picked it up yet give Red Dead Redemption a try this holiday season.

StophJ: I'm not a huge fan of GTA4 so, I was skeptical of Grand Theft Ponies. After picking it up I was really surprised how well this game was presented and how much depth it offered.

In this survival horror disaster you play as Special Agent Francis York Morgan (He's like Alan Wakes much less interesting cousin). Set in a fictional north western town (once again similar to Alan Wake) Francis is suffering from delusion and supernatural beings (starting to see a trend here). You are in town to investigate a murder but the only murder you should be investigating is the one of your eyeballs from all the White flickering and jaggy edges that are only rivaled by the best of the games available on Playstation 1. Game Informer Magazine may call this game a cult classic. We here at 1milliongamerscore.com call it crap! And, yes, i am aware this game released before Alan Wake.
